Room 223, Monday Morning, Oh God Why
The first thing Natalie remembered, just after waking up but before opening her eyes, was smoking weed. That, and only that. See, after that memory bubbled up... She sort of just refused to remember anything further. If she just stayed perfectly still and flatout refused to acknowledge the books and the candy bar wrappers and – God forbid – anything else that might have still been in her bed, then maybe she could hold on to being oblivious for just a little while longer, right? Right.
So, yes. She was going to shut her eyes even more tightly and pretend that she was asleep for a little while longer to keep from facing up to reality. By trying to convince herself she was still sleeping. It was clearly the mature thing to do here. Shut up, these random events were stressful, and clearly devised by sociopaths looking to make people suffer.
From what she was trying to keep out of her conscious mind but what filtered in anyway, at least she was pretty sure she had some clothes on. Small blessings.
[ooc: Closed door, but post is open whether you're someone who might still be here, the roommate, or just someone looking for her. In any case, whoo AU aftermath. Bouts of SP throughout the day for my various classes but I'll be around a lot. ETA: And thanks ever so much to the really too kind anon who upped Nat's account back to paid! The icon sitch was frustrating as hell and Paypal is slow for foreigners. *showers you with love and gratitude* ♥]

Natalie hesitated for just a moment before owning up to being herself. "Door's open." Another pause and she followed that up with, "It's me."

He was still quiet when he stepped inside and closed it behind him. He stayed where he was though, back against the door, because he wasn't sure if he was going to get yelled at or what might happen this time around.

Then she shrugged a shoulder. "Another crazy Fandom weekend, eh?"

Angie's emotions had been pretty out of control.

Because if there was a creepy guy she'd run into, then it was Nikolai and not him.

Still skirting around the issue here.

"So, what else happened?" he asked, sounding mild about it. He wanted to wait to decide how to really react.
no subject
"Angie met a guy."
Amazing, considering how little she'd gone outside.

"Well, she didn't sleep with him," she said, because it was a good start.
no subject
"Okay."
And that was his prompting for her to keep going.

"Okay." Yes, he said that again. And he was forcing himself to remain just as unaffected looking as she was right now. "She didn't sleep with him but she did other things?"
no subject
Oh, like she'd willingly offer up details that would just bring up the jealousy and sulking she was sure were already brewing up? Yeah, no.
no subject
"Thanks for being honest," he finally said though his voice was still pretty mild.

Natalie let a silence pass, then asked, "Are you upset?"
no subject
It was an honest answer because he wasn't that upset, no. He was...he was a little upset, okay, and he was a little jealous and he was a little unsure so it made his overall feelings a little weird.
"Maybe I am. A little."
