Room 223, Monday Morning, Oh God Why
The first thing Natalie remembered, just after waking up but before opening her eyes, was smoking weed. That, and only that. See, after that memory bubbled up... She sort of just refused to remember anything further. If she just stayed perfectly still and flatout refused to acknowledge the books and the candy bar wrappers and – God forbid – anything else that might have still been in her bed, then maybe she could hold on to being oblivious for just a little while longer, right? Right.
So, yes. She was going to shut her eyes even more tightly and pretend that she was asleep for a little while longer to keep from facing up to reality. By trying to convince herself she was still sleeping. It was clearly the mature thing to do here. Shut up, these random events were stressful, and clearly devised by sociopaths looking to make people suffer.
From what she was trying to keep out of her conscious mind but what filtered in anyway, at least she was pretty sure she had some clothes on. Small blessings.
[ooc: Closed door, but post is open whether you're someone who might still be here, the roommate, or just someone looking for her. In any case, whoo AU aftermath. Bouts of SP throughout the day for my various classes but I'll be around a lot. ETA: And thanks ever so much to the really too kind anon who upped Nat's account back to paid! The icon sitch was frustrating as hell and Paypal is slow for foreigners. *showers you with love and gratitude* ♥]

While she was outside, a small black fox had trotted up to her, and been rather insistent about following her back to the dorms. It wasn’t until she spotted the raven overhead that Tara realized what was going on.
The raven wheeled off before saying much; Tara thought Ikol had looked as amused as a creature with a beak could look.
“So,” she said awkwardly when she got back to the dorm room with the fox at her heels. “He … kind of followed me home. On the bright side, I’m pretty sure it’s Loki.”
Wait. Was that a bright side?
“And, uh. That – wasn’t you Saturday, was it?”

"No," she replied, with maybe a little more conviction than usual, taking in the sight of Tara and... a fox. "Who's Loki?"

She sat down on her bed. "Good. You were kind of mean, not that I was that much better."

Except that one guy. Ugh.

Probably for the best Angie hadn't known that.

He had already claimed a generous share of Mxoy's cat food; Tara would need to get a second dish.
"Anyhow -- I didn't get a chance to look at anything for Sam, but I should be able to this week."

Foxes seemed pretty independent to her.

It was a little later when he finally came by, hands tucked into the pockets of a hoodie. He knocked on the door and waited quietly. He guessed things were back to normal but he wasn't gonna get called creepy again if they weren't.

She already felt a little wary when she glanced towards the door at the sound of a knock. "Who is it?"

Natalie hesitated for just a moment before owning up to being herself. "Door's open." Another pause and she followed that up with, "It's me."

He was still quiet when he stepped inside and closed it behind him. He stayed where he was though, back against the door, because he wasn't sure if he was going to get yelled at or what might happen this time around.

Then she shrugged a shoulder. "Another crazy Fandom weekend, eh?"

Angie's emotions had been pretty out of control.

Because if there was a creepy guy she'd run into, then it was Nikolai and not him.
