There was a small Canadian flag propped up on Natalie's desk today.She also had a care package from her parents back at her apartment. That was enough Canada Day for her. Anyway, it wasn't even July 1st in her Canada, thanks to time wonkiness.

And besides, she was going back for another bout of a few weeks in a few days. That was enough Canada for person, especially one who was as busy as she was. It was a day for handling complicated international affairs, just like most days were.

Still. The flag was a nice piece of home, no matter how unpatriotic she was.
